Sketch and Life: Artist Group
Sketch and Life is an artist group based in Taiwan. This is a community for connecting artists in Taiwan and sharing passionate artists works to the world. We have biweekly weekend drawing gatherings, also sometimes we hold figure drawing/paintings events in Taiwan (mainly in Taipei).
Sketch and Life was founded by Angie and Mickey, they’re both graduated from ArtCenter. They wanted to continue their habit of weekly weekend drawing gathering as their artist group in California. Therefore, Mickey founded the Facebook group and Angie started the weekly drawing gathering in Taipei. They hope people who loves to draw could discuss art, share experience and encourage each other in this group.
In 2019, to sustain the group in more organizational way, Sketch and Life decided to change the weekend drawing gathering from weekly to biweekly, and held more drawing themes and participate CDC (Character Design Challenge) on Facebook group.
Sketch and Life had a group art exhibition and painted murals together in 2018. And we’re looking forward to have more fun in the future!

Sketch and Life社團成立於2017年4月。
由於團長Angie因家裡因素2016年底緊急搬回台，回台後有感揪不到朋友畫圖，因合作關係認識美國大學校友Mickey，共同聊到洛杉磯的朋友每週聚會畫圖的習慣，決定延續加州娛樂產業藝術家的圖聚文化到台灣，鼓勵對畫圖有熱情也有興趣一起練功的藝術家互相交流互相督促，所以由Mickey命名成立了FB Sketch and Life社團。
於Angie生日後一天4月29日發起第一次圖聚活動。
2019年起，社團決定將一週一次的圖聚改為兩週一次，並開始在FB社團中的開始每月做CDC同步主題跟畫活動，之後也會每季舉辦一次主題活動，希望能用更有組織化的方式讓社團繼續延續。
★每兩週定期咖啡廳圖聚：
-每人帶一本或多本自己喜歡的畫冊分享討論 （讓害羞的朋友也有話題能認識新朋友）
-無主題自由畫圖
-免費講座分享活動
★不定期戶外寫生：
-約定時間會合後，畫圖約3~4小時，無硬性規定結束時間。
★不定期人體素描趴：
-因為需要場地也需要花錢請模特兒（裸體或有主題服裝），乾脆當趴踢來辦，有吃有喝，得須先繳費參加，因故無法出席的當捐款。
★社團未來目標：
-不定期找場地舉辦聯展 (2018年有舉辦過一次「A4無題創作聯展」)
-作品夠多會選出佳作出書
-以及尋找國外合作展出機會
-不定期邀請國外artist分享，辦課程或辦座談會
